Approach to Maternal Empowerment

As a Mom and Nurse Practitioner, I found navigating the healthcare system with my toddler frustrating and overwhelming.

Researching his condition on my own sent me down never ending rabbit holes, and still my questions were never truly answered by the conflicting evidence I found.

The goal of this site is to give mothers the space and time to learn about diagnoses and treatment options for their children.

As it stands, the heath care system does not fully support mothers in their quest for empowerment and advocacy.

Fifteen minute appointments do not set the stage for active learning or productive discussions with healthcare providers.

You are sent up the creek without a paddle, so let me show you how to build your motor.
